Sheffield DocFest is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our DocCrew team for 2026 (10th-15th June). Volunteers help out with screenings, events, audience welcome, and behind‑the‑scenes activity, gaining hands-on experience and being part of one of the UK’s leading documentary festivals.
Whether you’re new to volunteering or have helped at DocFest before, there’s a role to suit your skills and interests. All volunteers receive training and support throughout the festival week, plus perks including a volunteer t‑shirt, a festival pass, and potential standby access to festival films and talks after shifts. Travel and lunch reimbursements are also available.
This is a fantastic way to meet new people, get involved in the creative community, and be part of an exciting cultural event in Sheffield. Applicants must be 16 or over; anyone under 18 will need written permission from a parent or carer.
