About our network

Everyone in the Create Sheffield network supports children and young people in the city, directly or indirectly. They broadly fit into four groups: artists and cultural organisations, community and youth workers, teachers and educators and strategic partners.

What they all have in common is an enthusiasm for how creativity can enhance learning and lives.

We work with and support the people in our network in different ways, including promoting their work via our newsletters and events pages, sharing news and opportunities with them, advocating for them in strategic meetings, offering training and support and collaborating with them on projects.

“Before working alongside Create Sheffield, I did not understand the benefit of using stories to teach factual learning such as science.

“Now we are planning professional development for our staff on using stories across the curriculum.”
