Growtheatre brings stories to life with immersive Story Walks for EYFS and Year 1, combining storytelling, drama and outdoor exploration. Delivered at your school or in a nearby green space, each session begins with our magical storyteller, Mrs Saga, before children step outside on a Story Walk to gather “magical story ingredients”.
Through movement, imaginative play and simple drama activities, children explore characters, settings and key moments while discovering the world around them. Stories include The Gruffalo, The Extraordinary Gardener, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Pumpkin Soup, Little Red and more.
Story Walks are designed to support early language development, encouraging children to listen, speak, describe and collaborate using rich vocabulary. These engaging, hands-on sessions build confidence, creativity and communication, helping children experience stories in a way that goes far beyond the page.
£100 per workshop. Flexible delivery and optional family sessions available.
