Schools/ nurseries are invited to book onto Concerteenies’ ever-popular Musical Stories project. They are touring to nurseries and KS1 classes across South Yorkshire in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms 2026-27.  

Their narrators and professional musicians bring you this highly engaging, creative project to inspire and engage your 3-7 year olds, your staff members and their wider families.

The Musical Stories:

This year's project includes three brilliant musical stories with captivating music by Paul Rissmann and awesome animations by Vic Craven:

  • NEW 'The Duck With No Luck' for bassoon and narrator - based on the book by Jonathan Long and Korky Paul (a focus on migration, flight, friendship, space, North pole, jungle, city, dessert, birds)  

  • 'The Big Dreaming' for piano and narrator - based on the book by Michael Rosen and Daniel Egnéus (a focus on dreams, hope, happiness, home, bears, winter, hibernation, squirrels, wolf, rabbit) 

  • 'Blown Away' for flutes and narrator -based on the book by Rob Biddulph (a focus on wind, flight, jungle/ Arctic animals and habitats, friendship) 

The subsidised cost of the project is £340 per school (with 1 performance). 2 consecutive performances cost £580. Please complete follow the link to complete the form to register your school's interest in the project.
