When: 1 October 2026 all day (9:30-15:00)

This will be a strength‑based, nature‑led CPD session for teachers, TAs, SENCOs and support staff who want to deepen inclusive practice. Rooted in Forest School principles, we will explore how outdoor environments can support regulation, communication and confidence for autistic and neurodivergent pupils. You will gain first-hand experience of using and designing sensory circuits using natural materials, uplifting strategies such as intensive interaction and sensory storytelling. The session will cover why nature supports neurodivergent learners and how to adapt these strategies and integrate them into the curriculum. It also covers affirming communication approaches and designing interventions that align with EHCP outcomes and nurture principles. Staff leave with practical, uplifting ideas that celebrate strengths and widen access to learning through the natural world.
