Something suspicious is going on in the museum… and your help is needed to crack the case!
This summer, become a Crime Investigator and explore the museum like a Victorian Detective. Search for clues, examine evidence and piece together what really happened as you investigate mysteries hidden across our galleries. As the museum is housed within a Victorian Building, you'll also be able to see what life was like during the Victorian era from daily house duties to the jobs young children once did.
Families will explore real objects from the museum’s policing and crime collections, learn how investigators spot clues, and discover how crimes are solved, past and present. From fingerprints and witness statements to suspicious items and strange happenings, every detail matters.
With trails, hands-on activities and creative challenges, young detectives will need sharp thinking, teamwork and curiosity to uncover the truth.
Activities run throughout the summer holidays and are included with standard museum entry. Don't forget to make the most of the museum as every full-priced entry ticket can be upgraded free of charge into a year ticket!
