What: Family activity

When: Friday 20th February 11am-12.15pm.

Where: Sheffield Plate, Orchard Square, S1 2FB

Who: 5+ primary school age

Listen to Captain Nobeard, the Smoothest Pirate on the Seven Seas, tell you piratical adventures.
Create your own treasure map and write instructions for finding the treasure. Or cheat and write lies so no one can find your treasure!
Write about what pirates keep in their pockets and make some pirate treasure to take home.

No experience needed all materials will be provided.

Children must be accompanied by their adults at all times.

This session is run by Carmel Page who is a Storyteller, Folklore Author, Artist and Pirate. She works with children delivering workshops for Sheffield Museums, she shares stories with children on the cancer ward in Sheffield Children's hospital and she mentors traumatised children in care. If you or your child have any additional needs please inform Carmel in advance or on the day.

To keep costs down for families, adult tickets are £7.00, the same price as children's tickets. The activity is for both adults and children. Babes in arms do not need tickets.
