Who: young people aged 16-25

Creative Launchpad is A Mind Apart’s free, drop‑in daytime Arts Award programme for young adults aged 18–25, running every Thursday, 11am–1pm, at our Hillsborough studio through to 2027. Participants can work towards Bronze, Silver, or Gold Arts Award (Gold = 16 UCAS points) through portfolio‑based creative exploration , no exams, no pressure, and plenty of personalised support.

The programme includes integrated creative therapy delivered by a qualified therapist, monthly industry masterclasses with professional freelancers, and the option to attend our evening Arts Award class if daytime sessions don’t work for you. Young adults can join at any time and progress at their own pace.

Creative Launchpad is a perfect starter programme for anyone wanting to gain a qualification while figuring out their next steps — whether you’ve stepped away from university, don’t feel college is right for you, or simply want a creative, confidence‑building space to explore your future. Many participants join our Creative Careers Pathways to Work Scheme, making Launchpad an ideal first step into further training or employment support.
