The National Year of Reading 2026 is a campaign to address the steep decline in reading amongst children, young people and adults.

Step back in time and experience Sheffield’s wartime story through the eyes of those who lived it. This new permanent Blitz exhibition will bring to life the personal experiences of ordinary people during WWII, from the children who played their part to the brave emergency services who risked everything.

Take a trip down Memory Lane this winter at the Moor Market. Sheffield City Archives will be sharing stories and festive memories for all to enjoy. 15th-20th December.

The Book of Darkness & Light Theatre Company present their ghostly adaptation of A Christmas Carol, that most beloved festive classic. 16th and 17th December. Ages 10+
