Can we make every Sheffield Child a Published Author?

Write a Book to Change the World

A free project for all Sheffield schools

The Write a Book to Change the World Initiative in Sheffield marks a pioneering shift in global education, led by Gavin McCormack and Terezia Rostas. This transformative project, launching in January, aims to amplify Sheffield's youth voices, integrating the city's ethos of compassion, empathy, and hope into the curriculum. Gavin McCormack, with his Montessori educator background and Terezia Rostas, a champion of diversity and inclusivity, are set to revolutionise literacy and holistic development in Sheffield's schools. Their vision extends beyond literacy to incorporate shared values and city aspirations into student narratives. These stories, reflecting Sheffield's diversity and spirit, will be showcased globally online and in a dedicated local gallery. This initiative, supported by Sheffield Hallam University, represents a significant step towards a community-centred, globally impactful educational model.

Gavin will be running an online training session on Wednesday 13 March 9.30-10.30am.
