What: Drawing Club

When: Ongoing (during term time)

Who: KS 3 and 4

Skateboard Drawing Club is a great enrichment activity for secondary school aged children. Over the course of the session, you’ll design your own artwork featuring characters that you have developed through fun drawing games. You’ll learn about communicating a character's emotions through facial expressions and body language. and then transfer your designs onto blank skateboard decks using acrylic paint pens.

The sessions are led by Ed Syder, teacher, freelance artist and skateboarder. Ed has produced skateboard graphics for Thrasher Magazine, Santa Cruz and numerous UK skateboard shops. Ed‘s run drawing workshops with children and families for over 10 years (including Art Club at Doncaster Arts & Flux Rotherham) and has delivered Skateboard Drawing Club at festivals in Manchester and London.
The sessions can be adapted to suit a variety of needs with simplified techniques/materials and through additional support each step of the way.

Prices start from £20 per pupil (including a skateboard deck).
