Planning a school cinema trip? Showroom Cinema, Sheffield’s independent cinema, has introduced new reduced rates for school private hires. Its screens can host film screenings, presentations, classes or performances, and the in-house programming team can recommend films to support your curriculum, from language learning to history to special occasions.

-Private hire: £300 flat fee for up to 80 students, plus £4.50 per additional student
-Films from the current programme: £150 for up to 30 students, plus £5 per additional student (for films showing the same week as the booking)
-Teachers go free: one teacher free per ten students
-When: usually available any day, 9am until around noon
-Snacks: child-sized popcorn and soft drink for £3 per student, or the kiosk can open early
-Group tickets: discounts also available for public screenings and Stage on Screen events

All prices include VAT. Some new releases, Stage on Screen performances and other special films may carry a higher fee. To find out more or book, contact Showroom Cinema at education@srws.org.uk
