Who: Ages 16-19 (or up to 25 with an EHCP plan)
Are you aged 16-19, living in Yorkshire and The Humber, and passionate about film?
We are searching for talented, enthusiastic and hard-working 16-19 year olds - and up to 25 year olds for young people with an Education Health and Care Plan - to participate in our BFI Film Academy Introductory Courses 2026. Courses take place in Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and Scarborough.
Explore local training opportunities, for every role involved in filmmaking, across Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and Scarborough. Courses are free to attend and take place during October half-term.
Work as part of a team on real film projects, producing work you can showcase in your portfolio. Gain essential knowledge and experience to support future career pathways into the film and TV industry.
