Why Creativity Matters was a programme of mass consultation, conversation and co-production that brought together education professionals and arts and cultural providers from across Sheffield. Through shared experience and case studies, participants explored why a focus on arts and creativity is so vital in the post-pandemic world, mapped the range of creative opportunities on offer in the city, and built connections between schools and cultural organisations. The findings helped shape a pilot Cultural and Creative Education Strategy for Sheffield.
