Green Gardens - project and exhibition 2024 (past)

In this project, a collaboration between Create Sheffield and Sheffield Virtual School, care experienced young people came together to explore different creative activities - including painting, drawing, singing and DJing - and share their experiences through art. The project culminated in a free exhibition at Millenium Gallery where the public could hear their stories and create, connect and reflect through workshops. The group made a zine about their time together, which you can download here (project managed, written and designed by Lucy Revis).

The Green Gardens project was a direct response to the findings of the Voice and Influence team, as set out in their 2024 report.
