Community artist and musician. I work with people of all ages to create amazing community art projects, from lantern making to festive windows, willow creations, giant flowers, puppets and more. I enjoy making art accessible to all, and co-creating collaborative art for events and projects. I am particularly interested in art using natural materials, following the seasons and being inspired by nature. I am interested in the healing and therapeutic benefits of art, especially when in natural surroundings or using natural materials. I am also a musician, playing the clarinet and percussion instruments. I work for Live Music Now making interactive music with students in special schools and people in care homes. I also play for folk dancing and ceilidhs, shadow puppetry and free improvisation. I organise events combining folk dance, music and art, eg 'Dancing Under the Light of the Silvery Moon' folk music, dance and shadow puppetry event.
