Emily Whiteley -In-between the trees

I have a broad teaching experience of over 25 years specialising in Outdoor Learning, Forest School, SEND and Autism.

Whilst I continue to teach outdoor learning and forest school in a large secondary special school here in Sheffield, I have set up a small creative project that combines the best practice of my areas of expertise in order to build capacity throughout the Yorkshire region.

We work with people of all ages and backgrounds to facilitate positive experiences with nature.

We offer tailor made programmes to foster creativity and wellbeing, supporting individuals, groups and communities to make the most of outdoor spaces and maximise their interactions with the natural world. The need to do so is more important than ever and we strive to support ALL young people of Sheffield to enjoy the benefits of living in the Outdoor City.
