Beatrice Lee Knowles

Beatrice Lee Knowles is a freelance visual artist who works collaboratively with: galleries, museums, schools, community groups and creative charities, to deliver creative and educational workshops, as well as specialist sensory sessions.

Beatrice devises and runs workshops for all ages and abilities, covering many different creative disciplines.

Specialising in sculpture, large scale drawing and the use of up-cycled materials, many different outcomes can be achieved.

Beatrice loves working with groups to create collaborative pieces, bringing individuals and communities together. She also has extensive experience working with Early Years and SEND, creating and providing sensory resources to support the exploration of the world around them.

Beatrice has extensive experience creating workshops to match a brief and is always interested hearing about new projects happening within the city.

Beatrice has been running virtual workshops via zoom since March this year. These workshops, through her work with Pyramid of Arts, have covered sensory exploration of the home, movement, and storytelling.

More recently she has been involved in piloting face to face creative workshops, in a community arts setting, working under Covid-secure guidelines. She has developed the skills necessary to still be able to provide and fully engaging creative session including demonstrations and idea sharing opportunities.
