Angie Hardwick, Ange Made Ceramics
I am a freelance Visual Artist, specialising in ceramics. I devise and deliver creative workshops and projects, to all ages and abilities with the community. Watch a short video about my work here.
I have worked in educational environments for over 15 years, predominantly in Primary and Secondary settings.
Previously I have taught GSCE Art and Photography and A level Art. I currently work in primary schools delivering short sessions based on ceramic skills, these usually span over a 4 week block and often include families.
I am also and advisor for Discover and explore, Bronze and Silver Arts Awards.
I regularly go into schools to deliver art week project, to assist their with Artsmark. These projects usually include large scale sculptures based on themes.
I have also delivered work for Childrens University devising workshops in libraries.
I currently work for Ignite Imaginations and Darts facilitating a wide variety of creative sessions in the community, these include children with disabilities and hard to reach groups and families.
I regularly work with poorly children and young people with mental health illnesses for The Sheffield Childrens Hospital. I have also been a mentor for 3rd year Students at Sheffield Hallam .
